ANZAC Biscuits
Our much loved ANZAC Biscuits
Chewy and delicious! We’ve tweaked the traditional recipe to make them a little more wholesome, enjoy!
1 ½ cup rolled oats
½ cup slivered or ground almonds
½ cup desiccated coconut
½ tsp baking soda
3 Tbsp melted butter
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 Tbsp local honey
1 Tbsp water
pinch of sea salt
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 150°C and line a baking tray with paper.
2. Add the almonds, rolled oats, coconut and baking soda to a food processor, and pulse until combined.
3. Add the maple syrup, honey, butter, water and salt. Pulse again until combined and beginning to come together.
4. Using wet hands roll the mixture into balls and place on the lined baking tray. Use the palm of your hand to flatten, leaving room for the biscuits to spread.
5. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden.
